Consumer Data Rights

TRELIze — operated by TRELIze LLC — is registered as a data broker with the State of Texas pursuant to Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 541. This page describes your rights and how to exercise them.

How to submit a request:
Email privacy@trelize.com with the subject line "Data Rights Request" and include your full name and the email address associated with your TRELIze account (if any). We respond within 45 days as required by Texas law.

Your Rights Under Texas Law (TDPSA — Chapter 541)

As a Texas consumer, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

1. Right to Know

You have the right to know whether TRELIze is processing your personal data and, if so, what categories of data we hold about you.

2. Right to Access

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data TRELIze holds about you, in a portable and readily usable format where technically feasible.

3. Right to Correction

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal data we hold about you.

4. Right to Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of personal data you have provided to us or that we have collected about you. Note: if you are a TRELIze subscriber, deleting your account data will terminate your subscription. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance).

5. Right to Opt Out

You have the right to opt out of the following, to the extent applicable:

Sale of personal data — TRELIze does not sell subscriber personal data to third parties.
Targeted advertising — TRELIze does not use personal data for targeted advertising.
Profiling for significant decisions — TRELIze does not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

The data TRELIze collects and processes relates to real property records sourced from Harris County public filings — not to individual consumers as data subjects. If your property information appears in our database as part of a public record, you may submit a deletion request and we will evaluate it on a case-by-case basis consistent with our legal obligations and the public nature of the underlying records.

What Data We Collect

TRELIze collects two categories of data:

Subscriber data — Name, email, phone number, billing information, and usage data for customers who purchase a TRELIze subscription.
Public records data — Property ownership and filing information sourced from Harris County Clerk public records (probate filings, liens, foreclosure notices). This information is publicly available and collected under Texas open records law.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Submit your request by email:

Subject line: Data Rights Request
Include: Your full name, the email address on your account (if applicable), and a description of your request (access / correction / deletion / opt-out).
Response time: We will respond within 45 days. If we need an extension, we will notify you within the initial 45-day period.

Appeals

If we decline to act on your request, you have the right to appeal that decision. To appeal, reply to our response email with the subject line "Data Rights Appeal" and explain the basis for your appeal. We will respond to appeals within 60 days.
